What’s the biggest mistake you’ve made in your journey, and how did it shape you?

Early in my role, I made the mistake of assuming that manufacturing sales teams already knew how to market their company effectively within their industry space. I believed their product expertise and relationships would naturally translate into strong marketing. The reality? Our outreach and branding weren’t as impactful as I expected.

That experience taught me that manufacturing sales and brand marketing are two distinct disciplines that work best together. Clear communication of value and targeted marketing strategies are essential—no matter how skilled the sales team is or how strong the services and products are.

Since then, I’ve learned to foster closer collaboration and alignment between sales and marketing, resulting in more effective campaigns and stronger brand presence.

Mistakes like these challenge us, but ultimately help us grow.
